What is a Credit Alligator?
Let us examine the words credit and alligator. Credit means recognition by name and alligator represents a greedy person. So a Credit Alligator is someone who uses some other people's work and claiming it as their own. In our own little ways we can be credit alligators. By simply not acknowledging the author of a work, be it intentional or not. By not contributing to a project but adding your name to the credits claiming that you did something in the project.
We should all learn not to depend on other people's work just so we could prevent ourselves from exerting effort. We should put ourselves in their shoes and imagine how they would feel if this was done to us. We ought to create our own work. There is no honor in getting praise from something you didn't do. You are only fooling yourself.
It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation - Herman Melville

Multimedia
Multimedia is media and content that uses a combination of different content forms. This contrasts with media that use only rudimentary computer displays such as text-only or traditional forms of printed or hand-produced material. Multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, or interactivity content forms. Multimedia is usually recorded and played, displayed, or accessed by information content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices, but can also be part of a live performance.
What's so fascinating about multimedia that people get so hooked on it?
What's so fascinating about multimedia that people get so hooked on it?
Multimedia is new and people love new. They want to experience, see, feel new things. Multimedia is more appealing to people. Since it is a combination of different content forms it catches more a person's attention. It is very easy to use. Today, anyone willing to learn how to operate multimedia devices can easily learn it. Multimedia improves communication with people. Instead of just talking to someone we can now see them. Multimedia can be used in a lot of different things. It can be used to entertain, educate, inform, persuade and many other uses.

Facebook has over 500 million active users and with these numbers, Facebook would be the 3rd largest population if it were a country next to India and China. Over 35 million people update their status every day. Twitter reported that it’s now seeing over 200 million active users send 400 million tweets per day. YouTube has 1 billion unique monthly visitors and 6 billion hours of videos are watched every month.
Social media has grown enormously over the years and we have to be responsible when using them. It is our right to use these social media but it is also our responsibility to use it properly for us not to hurt other people or even ourselves. The Internet is a dangerous place for anyone. There are people waiting to take advantage of people; scammers, hackers, etc.
We shouldn't post nude or half-naked pictures of ourselves or of others. We should't use bad language for it can be seen by anyone. Do not spread wrong information about somebody or something. Do not "cyber-bully". There is now a Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 in the Philippines. We should protect our accounts with the proper privacy settings so that people we don't know wont be able to see our account. Don't meet up with strangers. It's okay to chat with someone but we shouldn't reveal our personal information like where you live or meet up with them. Do not plagiarize. Do not copy other peoples work and if you do, credit the author of the work. Cite the source of everything you copy on the internet. If you have children, supervise them, monitor their use of the Internet. Be a responsible Netizen. Think before you click
